The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority( PTA) changed the rules for fixed broadband internet pets, which increased the minimal download speed by 16 times.
PTA has also made it a rule that druggies must always be suitable to get 80 of the announced internet pets.
The Quality of Service Regulations, have been replaced by the Quality of Service Regulations, 2022.
Broadband is principally high- speed internet that can be delivered to homes and businesses through technologies like T1, string, DSL, and FiOS. But it does n’t come with mobile data.
PTA changed the rules to take into account both new and old fixed broadband technologies, similar as xDSL( Digital Subscriber Line), string broadband( DOCSIS3.x), fixed wireless, Fibre to the Home( FTTH), and satellite broadband.
The thing is to get a better estimate of the services that service providers and end druggies have agreed to.
The new rules say that fixed broadband internet download pets should be at least 4 Mbps( over from 256 kbps) and upload pets should be at least 2 Mbps.also, PTA won't only conduct QoS checks and test the quality of services being handed to consumers. still, it'll also apply and execute the recreating National Broadband Measurement Program( NBM). ”
